Fast-E Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 2026
Fast-E ("the App") is developed by Invotek AS ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our intermittent fasting timer app.
1. Information We Collect
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Fast-E stores all your data locally on your device using SwiftData. This includes:
- Fasting session history (start time, end time, duration)
- Your selected fasting schedule
- Notification preferences
- App settings and preferences
We do not have access to this data. It leaves the app in only two ways, and you control both: the CSV export you trigger yourself, and, if you turn on Apple Health sync, the completed fasts Fast-E writes into Apple Health, which Apple then handles under your own Health and iCloud settings.
Apple Health
Apple Health sync is off until you turn it on in the app under Settings, Apple Health. When it is on, Fast-E writes fasts that reached your goal to Apple Health on your device, as Mind & Body activities. Fast-E asks Apple Health for write access only, and the set of health data types it asks to read is empty, so it cannot read your weight, steps, sleep or any other health data. The only thing it looks up is whether it has already written a given fast, so that the same one is not written twice. We never see any of this. Turning the sync off stops future writes; anything already written stays in Apple Health until you remove it there.
In-App Feedback (Cuti-E SDK)
Fast-E includes an in-app feedback feature powered by the Cuti-E SDK. It contacts Cuti-E servers in the following situations:
- The first time you run Fast-E after installing it: the app registers your device with Cuti-E, sending a randomly generated device identifier, your device model, your iOS version and the app version. Normally this happens once per install. It happens again if the registration did not succeed, or if we have to reissue your device's access token.
- Whenever Fast-E is open: the app checks about once a minute whether we have replied to you, sending that device identifier, the app's Cuti-E ID and the access token from the registration above. It carries nothing about your fasts. It does this for everyone from first launch, whether or not you have ever sent us anything, and it does not depend on the analytics setting described below.
- When you submit feedback: your message, the category you picked, the title and the name you typed if you chose to fill in those optional fields, and, as with the registration above, your device model, your iOS version and the app version.
- If you allow notifications when you open the feedback screen: your Apple push token is stored with Cuti-E, together with the app's bundle ID and your device details, so we can tell you when we reply. Allowing notifications is your choice, and the push token is uploaded only if you allow them.
- When you open your inbox: the app loads your conversation, marks our replies as read, and sends any further message you write there, along with your name if you gave one.
As with any request over the internet, the server also sees the IP address your device connects from. None of this traffic carries your fasting history or your Apple Health data. We do not connect the device identifier to your Apple ID, and the app never asks you to sign in. We use the identifier to match our replies to the right device, and your device model and iOS version are held against it. If you fill in the optional name field, the name you type is sent alongside that identifier, so from that point the name is attached to your support conversation.
Optional Usage Analytics
Fast-E can send an activity signal so we can count how many people actively use the app. The signal itself is a one-way hash of an identifier iOS assigns to our apps on your device, combined with the app's bundle ID, and that hash cannot be reversed. The same request separately carries the Cuti-E device identifier described above, so this signal is pseudonymous rather than anonymous and we treat it as personal data. It never includes fasting data, health data, names, or email addresses. One signal is sent each time you launch the app. This is off by default and starts only if you allow it when prompted or turn on "Usage Analytics" in Settings. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings, and nothing further is sent.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
- No name, email address or account details, unless you type them into a feedback message, the optional title field or the optional name field yourself
- No location data
- No advertising identifiers
- No tracking across other apps or websites
- No crash reporting services
3. Data Storage
Your fasting data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We hold no copy of it: there is no cloud storage of ours, no server-side database and no remote processing of your fasts. The one copy that can leave the app is the one you ask for, either the CSV export or, if you turn Apple Health sync on, the completed fasts written into Apple Health, which Apple then handles under your own Health and iCloud settings. What reaches a server of ours is described in the two sections above: the device registration and the recurring check for replies, the feedback you choose to send, your Apple push token if you allow notifications, and, if you allow it, the usage analytics signal. Your fasting history and your Apple Health data are not among them.
4. Data Sharing
We do NOT:
- Sell your personal information
- Share your data with advertisers
- Share your fasting or health data with anyone
- Use your data for marketing purposes
Cuti-E processes the device registration, the recurring check for replies, the feedback you choose to send, and the optional usage analytics signal on our behalf. The registration, the check and the feedback exist so that we can reply to you. The usage analytics signal exists only so we can count how many people actively use the app; it is not used to reply to you. If you allow notifications, Apple's push notification service also carries the alert that tells you a reply is waiting.
5. Data Export
You can export your fasting history as a CSV file. This export is performed locally on your device and the file is shared using the iOS share sheet. We do not receive a copy of the exported data.
6. Your Rights
Your fasting data is stored locally on your device, so for that data you have full control:
- Access: View all your fasting data directly in the app
- Delete: Delete the app to remove your fasting data from your device, or clear individual sessions inside the app
- Export: Export your fasting history as CSV
For the data that reaches Cuti-E servers, which is the device registration, the feedback you have sent, your Apple push token if you allowed notifications, and any usage analytics signals tied to your device identifier, contact us using the details in section 10 and we will delete it. You can turn "Usage Analytics" off in Settings at any time and no further signals are sent. Withdrawing consent does not by itself remove signals already sent, so ask us if you want those deleted too.
Deleting the app removes your fasting data from your device, but it does not remove what Cuti-E already holds, and if you turned on Apple Health sync the fasts Fast-E wrote into Apple Health stay there until you delete them in the Health app. iOS also keeps the Cuti-E device token in the system Keychain after the app is deleted. A reinstalled Fast-E generates a new device identifier, but it still presents that stored token, and our servers resolve the token back to your existing Cuti-E record, so the earlier conversation is still linked to you.
7. Children's Privacy
Fast-E is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Website Analytics
This website (dashecorp.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors across sites. Only aggregate metrics (page views, referrers, browser type) are collected. This applies only to the website, not the app itself.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or on this page.

GDPR Compliance (EU Users)
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal data. Fast-E stores your fasting data locally and never transmits it to us, so for that data these rights are inherently fulfilled by the app's design; the copies you can create yourself, the CSV export and the Apple Health entries, stay under your own control. For the data that reaches Cuti-E servers, which is the device registration described in section 1, the feedback you have sent us from inside the app, your Apple push token if you allowed notifications, and any usage analytics signals tied to your device identifier, contact us using the details in section 10 and we will delete it. You can also withdraw your analytics consent at any time by turning "Usage Analytics" off in Settings.
